WORK EXAMPLE:
OLD TRAM CAR
The client wanted me to create a picture of an old Copenhagen cable car, to use as part of a Christmas gift. Researching this was quite fun, as I love trains.
I use a technique called
Intuitive Surface Tracing
Simply put, an artist using IST converts a photograph to a digital painting by “sensing the surfaces” and assigning colour and shape to them. Most of my work uses IST.
One of the advantages to using Intuitive Surface Tracing is that I can show off half-finished work; something I've found that most clients really appreciate!
